] of hesitation I voted Samantha Spade. I really like the character. She's vulnerable, very sensitive and even if she's not perfect, she has a big heart.
She makes me cry everytime I watch Fall out (1#22/23) or Mapple street (1#19)

I read a french article several weeks ago who describes the character very well (Translated myself so ^) :
"Ah, her smile, her wisp wedged with one's fingertip behind the ear, her difficulty to settle emotionally with the good person, but also her self-control to danger! Oh Gosh, I forgot I much I LOOOOVE this article, especially the last sentense ! I don't know how or where but I'm definitely going to put that on the next layout ! 
So I voted for Samantha Spade too. I really love Julia from Raising Waylon, I can reconize myself in some of her features, she is funny, and kinda crazy too, I love how she dresses up. And Marily Monroe is such an icon, I am huge fan of Monroe BUT we spent seven years with Sam, we really know her. She is a broken woman who didn't have a easy childhood. We kinda saw her grow on the show, and that's why I chose her.
Like Norma Jeane I'm crying when Sam show to Annie's mum her video. I'm crying when she is listening to Barry Mashburn's story in the bookstore. She is Sam Spade. And God knows how much I'm gonna miss her.
