I would like to speak about this movie because I've watch is several times : I think Poppy played amazingly well Marylin.

Summary of the film: Blonde is the portrait free of the sex-symbol which fired Hollywood, Marylin Monroe. Beyond the tragic life of the actress, the film investigates with strength and the truth the dark face of the woman. It is also a realistic painting of Hollywood.

Most of Marilyn's true fans hate this movie (and also the book).

Still, I think she was fantastic, she was a great MM and she actually got really good critics from the press (too bad she wasn't nominated for an Emmy at the time, she SO deserved it.)

I've also read the book several times (in both english and french) and there are so many scene I would have love to see on screen.

Oh, and loved that Patrick Dempsey and Jensen Ackles were also cast in the movie.

I loooooooove that Poppy played Marilyn Monroe. I adore and love both actresses.

The book is a bit confusing because everything about MM is so up in the air as it is with fact and not fact. So I think the book added a bit of confusion. Esp since it's a fictional story on a real person. And sometimes I get confused on what I read(I've read many books on MM) is true or false, but MM's life is all mystery for the most part. So much can't be proved. All the same I enjoyed the book and loved watching one of my favorite actresses playing one of my favorite actreses.

I got the book for a birthday present it pretty good! I love the movie and Poppy's acting in it!!!

French viewer, Teva will air Blonde on Wednesday 26th. Probably in a French version, with an awful "Barbie girl" voice, if I were you I wouldn't watch, but if you never saw the movie, then it's better than nothing.

She was absolutely fantastic as Marilyn Monroe.
I've Teva channel so I'll probably rewatch "Blonde" again, even if I didn't like the voice too. I've never seen the original version yet
